Liska contains over 500 Jewish historical sites, from cemeteries to synagogues, embodying a storied heritage. In the 1800s, about 3,000 Jews lived in Liska, forming a rich and vibrant community. Liska’s influence extends beyond its borders, reaching nearby towns like Kerestir and impacting Jewish life across Hungary. Each year, nearly 5,000 people visit Liska, attracted by its historical and spiritual landmarks.
